ELECTRICAL TESTING & REPAIRS

On-Site Automotive Electrical Testing & Selected Repairs

An electrical component works intermittently, a connector is damaged, or replacing a part did not solve the problem? We test the affected circuit and explain what the evidence supports before you approve an accessible repair.

Is this what you are experiencing?

  • Intermittent operation of an electrical component
  • Damaged wiring or connector concerns
  • Warning lights with previous test results to review
  • A component replacement that did not resolve the concern

What we evaluate and repair

Evaluation, repairs and service limits

Evaluation before parts

We review the symptom and relevant technical information, then test the affected circuit as appropriate. Checks may include power, ground, connections and component response. A fault code is a starting point, not proof that a named part has failed.

Selected repairs we offer

Selected accessible wiring and connector repairs, sensors, relays and related component work supported by testing. We review harness location and damage extent before accepting a repair.

When a larger facility is needed

We do not offer ECU coding/programming, ADAS calibration or extensive harness reconstruction. Water intrusion, widespread damage or work requiring major disassembly may need a specialist facility.

Preparing for your request

Describe the affected function and when it fails. Include vehicle details, exact codes or warning messages, prior repairs and photos of visible wiring damage.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you request service

What if there is smoke, unusual heat or a burning smell?

Stop using the affected equipment and stop the vehicle as soon as safely possible if the concern affects vehicle operation. Do not repeatedly restart it to test the fault. If there is fire or immediate danger, contact emergency services. Describe what happened before requesting an appointment; remote messages cannot establish that the vehicle is safe.

Can you replace the part named by a trouble code?

We evaluate what caused the code before recommending a repair. Circuit faults or other conditions can produce a code without proving that the named component is defective.

Can you repair a wiring harness?

Selected accessible wiring and connector repairs may fit. Please share the vehicle, symptom and photos of visible damage; complete harness replacement or widespread damage may exceed our scope.

What if the electrical problem does not happen during the visit?

We document what we can verify and explain what remains unresolved. Additional monitoring, access or testing is discussed and approved separately.

Is electrical testing included in the replacement price?

Testing is a separate professional service unless your written estimate states otherwise. We explain evaluation scope and any additional approved testing before recommending a repair.

Can you finish work someone else started?

We do not take over previously started DIY repairs. Share the current condition so we can clarify whether a specialist facility is the appropriate next step.

We supply all repair parts. Installation of your usable, compatible spare tire is a separate assistance service. Qualifying repairs include a 2-year / 24,000-mile parts-and-labor warranty, whichever comes first. Why we supply the parts · Coverage and terms
